Fans of Tekashi 6ix9ine know he hasn’t been on social media much lately. It’s not a big surprise, because when he got out of prison, he seemed to be on top for months. However, his audience soon tired of him, and as it turned out, not a lot of people were interested in downloading his latest record Tattle Tales.
As it was previously reported, Tekashi was supposed to release the album and sell approximately 150,000 units, but it wound up selling just 50,000 instead. The rapper appeared exasperated and surprised at the news, later taking to the streets of New York City to hand out copies because, in his own words, “none of y’all want to buy it.”
For the most part, Mr. 6ix9ine hasn’t been in the headlines much over the last month and a half, except of course, when it was reported that King Von had died. King Von was shot and killed outside of an entertainment establishment in Atlanta, Georgia.
Fast-forward to this weekend, and new social media footage appears to show the rapper in a Miami, Florida, nightclub, where he and another man were close to throwing down. Hot New Hip Hop said Tekashi could be seen throwing some of his money around with his girlfriend at his side.
According to the outlet, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Gervonta Davis got into a skirmish at the venue, and it nearly escalated into a fistfight, however, it thankfully never got to that point due to the rapper’s security team and the fact Hernandez was elevated on a platform.
Another video appears to show Daniel Hernandez, also known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, antagonizing Davis while standing behind a crew of security. Reportedly, Tekashi could also be seen throwing more money around as if he was really upset.
Gervonta later took to his Instagram to talk about what went down, saying how Hernandez was a “snitch,” and then suggesting that he just got “hit” for being around him. It appears as though Davis insinuated that he was attacked by the rapper’s team simply for being close to him.
